Manav Subodh serves as the Director of International Development, Innovation Acceleration and Executive Education at University of California Berkeley. He is also the Co-Founder of 1M1B (A Million for A Billion) Foundation, a global initiative to activate a million young leaders, educators and entrepreneurs to create jobs that will impact a billion people in the underserved regions of the world. Manav serves as a member of the National Expert Advisory Committee on Innovation, Incubation and Technology Entrepreneurship of the Government of India and was a Senior Advisor to Ernst & Young ( EY) for Government of Chhattisgarh’s Policy formation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He steered into entrepreneurship while he was the Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Director at Intel Corporation where he managed 10 million US$ funding program in over 30 countries.


Manoj Kumar

Senior Advisor & Head of Innovations, Tata Trusts
Founder Director& CEO, Foundation for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship

Manoj is a senior advisor to Tata Trusts, where, in addition to his advisory role, he also owns the executive responsibility for all university/institutional partnerships, and manages the Innovations/R&D portfolio. Manoj has conceived and co-founded the Foundation for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (FISE) to nurture social innovators through their lab to market journey. Manoj is also the architect and chief evangelist of Social Alpha, an ecosystem stack that aims to provide full lifecycle, Idea-to-Impact support to social innovators and entrepreneurs. He has been an entrepreneur as well as an angel/seed investor with about 15 startups in his current portfolio. Manoj serves on the advisory and governing boards of a number of companies, including a few non-profits and research institutions.


Ganesh Neelam

Head of Innovations and Technology at Tata Trusts

With an experience of around 15 years in the field of rural development, Ganesh works towards creating disruptive technological solutions that cater to community development. He joined Sir Ratan Tata Trust in 2004 as a Programme Associate handling the flagship programme – Central India Initiative, focusing on enhancing livelihoods of tribal communities in central India. Post this, he led the Central India Initiative as the Executive Director of Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI), Jamshedpur, an associate organisation of the Trusts. During his seven-year tenure at CInI, thematic initiatives such as kharif maize stabilisation, non-timber forest produce and strengthening community institutions were developed in collaboration with the tribal communities in Jharkhand, Orissa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan. He presently leads CInI, which is executing the “Lakhpati Kisan – Smart Village” focused programme and also supervising key programmes like improved cook stoves and Transform Rural India which would create a large scale positive impact for rural communities. Apart from his role at the Trusts, he is a Director at the Foundation for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (FISE).


Dr. Swati Subodh

Co-founder of 1M1B Foundation and Founder of Aadyantara
Dr. Swati Subodh is a scientist in the field of Biotechnology with expertise in genomics which she pursues with passion in the hope of linking it with better healthcare. She is an entrepreneur and is the Co-founder of 1M1B Foundation & founder of Aadyantara. One is driven by her cross disciplinary approach to healthcare solutions and the other by her natural bent as an artist of performing arts. She has also written articles in the field of functional genomics and technologies for reputed science magazines and national dailies. She also contributes to the India Science Wire (ISW) which aims at popularizing scientific work from Indian Labs for a lay audience. She has spoken at the Global Conference on Internet of Things 2017 at Alexandria, Egypt; Global Nagpur Summit, Nagpur; TEDxBangalore 2016 TEDxwithInfy (co-organized with Infosys) on creative triggers and a differential approach to thinking for better outcomes and at BioAsia 2017 on use of healthcare technologies. Besides these, she has delivered distinguished talks in academic institutes and incubation centres like IISc Bangalore; IISER Pune; CCAMP Bangalore and IGIB New Delhi to name a few.


Srikanth Prabhu

Srikanth worked in the Financial Technologies and Global Investment Banking with Goldman Sachs and RBS for about 5 years before joining the development sector. He is a member of the Venture Development team and manages Social Alpha’s incubation pipeline and portfolio. Srikanth has a B Tech degree in Electronics & Communications from NIT Surathkal and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. His interest areas are education, livelihoods and rural innovation. He actively works with technology startups in this space.


Chavi Vohra

Manager for Fellows and Advisor Partnerships & Social Media for Startup Gurukool
Chavi Vohra is a Post Graduate in Human Rights and Human Resource Management with a major in economics. She is also trained by Save the Children, Sweden as a country trainer on Positive Discipline and Elimination of Physical and Psychological punishment. Her fourteen years of experience in developmental sector strengthens the Startup Gurukool projects running under Startup Gurukool fellow. Currently, she is the Manager Fellows and Advisor Partnership & Social Media. She has extensive experience in the promotion of child & human rights, child & adult protection, emotional intelligence and self-development methods with an objective to contribute to protection and creation of the safe environment. She is also trained in meditation self-development techniques. She has worked with caregivers, social workers, parents, and teachers on positive discipline, psycho-social support, parenting, life skills, social-emotional learning, bullying, building resilience and non-violent, soft skills, career readiness etc. She believes in participatory facilitation methodology and experiential learning techniques. Her deep insights into social media and branding help in building online communities and increasing the organization’s visibility. She conceptualizes and designs the creatives according to the organization’s mission.


Ritu Singh

Director – Curriculum & Training, 1M1B Foundation & Adjunct Faculty – Smart City 4.0
Ritu Singh is a founding member and Director-Curriculum & Training with 1M1B Foundation. She is also an adjunct faculty for the Smart City 4.0 Program which is a joint initiative of 1M1B, UC Berkeley & US India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF). She has over 15 years of experience in the development sector and in her current engagement with 1M1B, Ritu has been responsible for development and deployment of entrepreneurship-related content both in India as well as across multiple regions and most recently in Africa, the Caribbean Islands and South-East Asia. Prior to joining 1M1B Foundation, she was a Senior Consultant to the Intel Youth Enterprise Program where she was responsible for developing ideation and entrepreneurship content, curricula and programs and in her capacity as Master Trainer, activating these programs in India as well as globally via trainings and capacity building engagements. Ritu also served as the National Program Manager, India for the Intel Teach Program’s private school initiative. She has also worked as an Associate Consultant at ‘Pravah’, a Delhi based NGO which works with young people to impact issues of social justice through youth citizenship action.


Abhiram Natarajan

Abhiram Natrajan is a former TFI fellow, and is an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer. Currently, he is a senior fellow at 1M1B Foundation. He considers himself as an avid sports person and loves to take risks in life. He believes in the power of education to bring social change and is often found working with children and village citizens in underserved communities.
