A total of six StartUp Gurukool fellows were selected after a rigorous selection process


Md Shahnawaj Hossain (Fellow for Jharkhand)

Md Shahnawaj Hossain (Fellow for Jharkhand) hails from Kolkata and is a structural engineer by qualification. He likes to travel and experience new cultures, and also draws life perspectives from them. A multilingual who knows 5 languages, he dreams of climbing the Mt Everest one day! Going forward he wants to start his own social enterprise with a vision to provide uninterrupted, affordable, clean energy solutions in rural parts of the country.

Manjunatha G.N (Fellow for Karnataka)

Manjunatha G.N (Fellow for Karnataka) is from Karnataka. He is an engineer with experience in manufacturing & social innovation. He describes himself as someone who is ‘curious in agriculture, nature, and very much like adventure activities.’ This lover of nature has his roots in working for the conservation of environment. He has worked on various frugal innovations and would love to work with village citizens to create local solutions-product & process, with them.

Srinivas Emani (Fellow for Uttarakhand)

Srinivas Emani (Fellow for Uttarakhand) is from Hyderabad. He is an engineer in computer science, and is a former TFI fellow. He loves travelling and reading and also describes himself as “a diehard fan of Sachin and Federer.” He believes in co-creating solutions for communities to augment social impact.

Bhavitha Bogaraju (Fellow for Andhra Pradesh)

Bhavitha Bogaraju (Fellow for Andhra Pradesh) is from Hyderabad. She is also a former TFI fellow who has an outstanding academic background and has earned many laurels in her career. She is a graduate in commerce and has represented her college at a multicultural academic business program in the US. She believes that education and information hold key to socio-economic change.

Tejasvi Vaddiparti (Fellow for Andhra Pradesh)

Tejasvi Vaddiparti (Fellow for Andhra Pradesh), is from Hyderabad. She is a former TFI fellow and is an engineer by qualification. She describes herself as ‘engineer by qualification, teacher by profession, caffeine-addict, an optimist and interested in all things boring.’ She believes that technology, innovation and collaboration hold the key to significantly augment social change and match impact with intent.

Abhiram Natrajan (Fellow for Andhra Pradesh)

Abhiram Natrajan (Fellow for Andhra Pradesh), is from Hyderabad. He is a former TFI fellow, and is an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer. Since the past one year he is also an integral part of the 1M1B team. He considers himself as an avid sports person and loves to take risks in life. He believes in the power of education to bring social change and is often found working with children and village citizens in underserved communities.
