Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Master in Social work, economics, sociology, psychology preferred.
Proven leadership skills and empathy
Strong follow-up and co-ordination skills

The candidate should be fluent in English and in addition Hindi, Telugu and Kannada (person with multi- lingual skills preferred)

Designation: StartUp Gurukool Fellow
Identify critical success elements to develop a Startup Gurukool.
Evaluate existing technologies being deployed and explore alternative technologies that will lower the operating costs and offer new revenue models and opportunities for the village.
Identify the aspects that are important to the village communities and are not being addressed.
Evaluate the programs feasibility in the prevalent social, political, and economic dynamic of the villages.
Identify the weakest links that needs to be addressed to make the program a success.
Project management in terms of deliverables, timely reporting, mentoring interns, documentation and project updating to stakeholders.
Managing selected SME’s and startups entry into the village.
Provide content for social media, blogs, case studies and do regular video documentations.
Coordination and reporting to program director for on ground support in the village.
Understanding the social, cultural and gender sensitive issues and acts accordingly; ready to adapt to a low comfort life style.
Build relationships and should be able to solve problems and resolve conflicts
Boarding will be provided in addition.
Those who will successfully complete the fellowship will receive a certificate of completion from 1M1B and the Tata Trusts.
Outstanding fellows will be invited to present their work at the the United Nations headquarters in New York at the 1M1B for SDG event in March 2018.
