Last mile market access: Startup Gurukool removes typical challenges faced by startups in entering rural markets of India, example Trust, language, belief system, cultural barriers, relationship with local government and village leadership.

Co-Create: Opportunity to co-create last mile business model with future customers, do customer discovery and product testing before launch of products and services

Manpower: Get locally trained manpower, student interns and independent contractors on short term and long term assignments.

Funding and Incubation: Pitch for Incubation support and seed capital to Social Alpha (An initiative of Tata Trusts)

Startup Gurukool bring global startups to access rural markets. This access and exposure allows them to test their solution on the specific populations in need by appointing village level independent contractors and entrepreneurs. This on the ground market research, analysis, and testing is invaluable for both the provider and community.

Startup Gurukool, is a partnership between 1M1B, Tata Trusts, Department of Science and Technology Government of India and UN Habitat.
